Celebrate your birthday at Restaurante Akquaaa, right on the beach in Calafell: set menus from 38 € per person, a terrace with sea views, a children's menu and private parking for your guests.

It makes no difference whether there are twelve of you or forty: what makes a birthday here different is where it happens. The terrace is right on the front and at dusk the sun sets directly opposite — if the meal is in summer, ask for the table at eight.

For winter birthdays there is the indoor dining room, with the same window onto the sea and no need to depend on the weather.

How we put it together

Three set menus served at the table: Group I at 38 € per person, Group II at 46 € and Group III at 58 €. All three include 10 % VAT, a bottle of wine for every four people and mineral water.

Tell us it is a birthday when you book: we prepare the table, coordinate the moment for the cake with the kitchen and, if you like, bring out the dessert with a candle.

The cake can be brought from outside: tell us when you book and we will keep it chilled until you ask for it.

We bring it out when you say, with the candles lit, and if you would rather it was the house dessert with a candle we do that too.

There is a children's menu between 9,20 € and 10,60 €, high chairs and room for pushchairs.

Decorations

Something discreet for the table is fine. Check with us first if it is anything larger.

A long afternoon

If the meal stretches out, the beach bar is thirty paces away for a coffee or a drink afterwards.

Accessibility

The restaurant is on the seafront promenade, at street level and with no step at the main entrance. The indoor dining room, the terrace and the toilets are wheelchair accessible, and there is a reserved parking space next to the door.

As at the Akquaaa Boutique Hotel, we have support equipment for hire for anyone who needs it during the celebration. Ask for it when booking and we will have it ready on the day of the event.

Akquaaa is the restaurant of the Akquaaa Boutique Hotel: the celebration ends in the very building where the rooms are. For a wedding, a corporate lunch with people from out of town or a group arriving from a distance, it solves the accommodation without anyone having to get in the car at the end of the night.

How much does celebrating a birthday cost?

The set menus cost 38 €, 46 € or 58 € per person, with VAT, wine and water included. For small groups you can also eat à la carte.

Can I book the terrace for a birthday?

Yes, by saying so when you book. In July and August it is worth doing it several days ahead, especially for sunset.

Is there a menu for the children?

Yes: burger, chicken fingers, macaroni bolognese and a quesadilla, between 9,20 € and 10,60 €.
